The kids loved listening to “There’s a Wocket in my Pocket!” And who wouldn’t?? Funny made-up animals dwelling on ordinary pieces of furniture! I love the “nooth grush” on the toothbrush.
As much as I would have LOVED to have the kids make up their own animals and draw them, I took the easy route and had them just color some pre-done wocket puppets I found online. The Pink Bunny class (3 years old) could only handle coloring them and the Rainbow Fish class (4 years old) could handle coloring, cutting and making the pocket so you will see the noticeable difference of one class having the teacher’s hand in it and the other, not as much!

I so wish Alyssa was in your class? She’s been reading “Hop on Pop” to me, but loves all of the Dr. Seuss books. One of Graton’s cousins gave us a bunch of them. At UCSD, Audrey Geisel serves cake to all the students and has a funny little band. I told her that my toddler was also named Audrey, but don’t think she heard me. She’s pretty old now.
