One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish

Ramsey is an amazing artist. I don’t know how many people actually know that and I think you should all know. I couldn’t find a decent coloring page for Dr. Seuss fish and so I went to Ramsey and asked him if he could draw them for me. He whipped out those fish drawings in no time and they look very Dr. Seuss-y!! After reading and memorizing the first few pages of “One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish” the kids got to decorate their own fish. I then put them down the hallway. Those walls have been mostly bare all year and it’s nice to see a bit of color finally! The kids love looking at all their fish in various positions: swimming in schools, doing acrobatics, and even kissing! Yes, I have kissing fish complete with a little sign over their lips labeled “censored.” I was mostly amusing myself. It’s still a work in progress and work on it a little bit everyday adding seaweed here and there. It’s a fun project and look forward to adding to it!

This little worm I drew. hehe. I tried to get it to look the style of Dr. Seuss by shaping his eyes with “U”s and adding eyelashes since it seems like Dr. Seuss characters regardless of gender always seem to sport eyelashes.

  1. Thanks so much for the fish pdf download! Our science & math fair is themed for Dr. Seuss and these fish will be just right for my pre-k students to color and create a math game with. Thank you thank you! 🙂

  2. A HUGE thank you from Germany! I’ve been looking for a high quality B&W image of Dr. Seuss fish and finally found your download after an hour of searching! Props to Ramsey as well for his artistic abilities!
